2005 Big Dog
Special thanks to Joe Teresi, who provided us with this 2005 Big Dog. With 500 miles, it produced only 86 hp on the dyno. We added PFI, changed the pipes, and got 103.8 (see dyno chart)! We really like the low end torque and the crisp throttle response. Mil Blair set up the fuel map and averaged 45 MPG!
PFI with chrome filter cover and machined aluminum brain box.
Big Dog coil cover and top motor mount replaced with PFI bracket. The red and black wires you see are the only external electrical connections!
Now THIS is a clean install!
High flow air filter eliminates pressure drop
The knob on top of the brain is used to richen/lean mixture...works as a choke as well.
